Columbia, SC – South Carolina has the lowest graduation rate in the country. That's according to a national publication that used a calculation based on promotion from grade-to-grade beginning with the freshman year.

Columbia, SC – It could cost more to attend the University of South Carolina this fall. A committee of USC's board of trustees approved a nearly 7% hike for undergraduates which would mean paying $494 more per year.
